We all like the muscular, well toned bodies and would like to get one ourselves. We know that is going to take trips to the gym or at the very least a well regimented routine at home. Maybe you have tried that but are just not happy with the results. How do those professional athletes and body builders get cut like that? Is there something you can do that they do that can help? Is there a magic workout or additive they use?
What Creatine is not
The truth is most of those people who have bodies you envy do take an additive but when you use the term “workout additive” most people think anabolic steroids. This is not the case. No one wants premature hair loss, acne, and shrunken testicles. In women it can have them singing baritone. So what is it that they are taking that is getting such good results without the down sides of anabolic steroids? The answer is using something the body both creates and absorbs through food and that is creatne.
How Creatine Works
About half of the creatine in our bodies is produced by amino acids while the other half is absorbed through food, specifically red meat. Creatine itself does not create muscle at all. Instead what it does is fuel them. This is especial true of the skeletal muscles which are the ones you are trying to build. By taking additional creatine you increase the amount of energy available to the muscles. This, in turn, allows you to workout longer and with more intensity. Basically it is like running your car on a higher octane gas. Also, although it is mostly feeding the skeletal muscles the other muscles are getting a better workout as well. The results of creatine additives have been reported on ABG, MSN, and it even has a spot on WEB MD where they talk about the benefits that professional athletes have gotten out of it.
None of this means that you can take creatine then sit at home, watch TV, and develop a great body. There is still a lot of work that needs to be done by you. What it can offer is the energy that the muscles need to last longer and work harder. In the end, that lack of muscle energy is what sabotages most attempts at getting a great body. The muscles simply tier out before the can get the workout that they really need.
What people are saying
This is what people had to say about it:
“I have been working out for years and have a good body and am in good shape. The problem was just that I was not where I wanted to be. I wanted one of those bodies that make other people say wow. I was pushing myself but I seemed to hit a wall. I was just not getting any bigger. I heard some guys talking about creatine so I thought I would give it a try. I loved the results. Now I am able to push my body further and am getting closer to the body I wanted.” Jim, Jersey City, New Jersey
“I was new to working out so I did some reading before I started when I read about creatine. I was afraid I was going to be too weak even to get a good work out but I surprised myself how long I lasted. It is still early in my program but I am seeing results. There is no way I am going to stop now!” Carl, Portland, Oregon
